Time to change the air filter and I would like to put a K&N on my 2008 TT 2.0. Is it possible to seal off the OEM filter opening (inside-rear of the engine cover) and add a cone filter on the outside of the engine cover, from the front-right air intake position. This would also allow me to remove the OEM intake from the bumper-engine compartment position to the forward engine black plastic cover position. What do you think?
