Default Changing dashboad light bulbs

Hi,

It seems a light bulb behind my dashboard instrument cluster has blown. I cannot read the odometer and seems the light is dim in the top corner behind the speedometer.

Hows is this bulb accessed?

I have 1996 audi a4 manual sedan. I have checked all the fuses.

CAD

removed cover below cluster around steering wheel column, remove 2 screws holding cluster in, turn cluster as much as you can sideway to fight with connectors, unplug and remove. You can do the bulbs without disassembling any of the custer right on the back side.

just like geilkyle2 said, its pretty easy but the early b5 have loose electricla problems so see if you just need to jigle a buld or something. also make sure you get the upgraded orange ones with the higher voltage rating. and lastly make sure you get only the number you need, those bulbs cost me3 bucks a pop

wow it was alot easier than I thought, just telescope the steering wheel as far out as posible, remove the trim and 2 torx screws cluster will shimmy out.. make sure u have extra bulbs when you change them because when u get it all back together another one will be burnt out and ull have to do it again, hardest part is the wire harness clips on the back.
