Check Engine Light & Oil was Low
I have2001.5 Audi S4. I was driving lastnight when my check engine light came on, so I drove straight home, checked my oil and any signs of loose pressure lines or what ever didn't look normal. I noticed the oil was really low but not under the last dot on the oil stick. I saw there isoil leaking from the passenger side of my engine and it is coming frome above the oil pan area.
Does anyone know what this could be? Blown cam gasket?????
Thanks Blackmagics4

There is a low oil pressure/level sensor & warning in the gauge. When the CEL is on, the oil is one of the last places to look.
Go to any local auto parts stores & ask them to check the codes, but don't listen to them beyond that. Then look the code up at bentley publishing.
Chances are it's a boost leak, or some bad sensor.
The oil leaking is totally normal for a 2.7t. It's you valve cover gasket &/or the cam seals. Get them replaced when you do your timing belt. If not it's like 8hrs of labor to replace them all on both sides.

I had my timing belt replaced about 10,000 miles ago, also I am going to try this OBDII program from AutoTAP its like vagcom, shoot, it will be my first time using it though. Do you thinkI should take my car back to whereI got the timing belt done at, and have them fix it?
