Default clicking when turning

yet one more little issue i have to solve on my ar, when ever i turn in either direction i hear this weird cliking/ticking noise, it sounds like its coming from the left side but dont know what it can be, i still ahve to change the lower control arms on that side and thought they were the culprit but they seems good, i have a rear wheel bearing out on that side and never noticed anything before it went out, i also have had te car aligned and it dosent seems to pull but then again half the roads i drive to school are so turn up and at a slant i dont know. when im on good ground like say a mall parking lot everything seems fine, car turns, goes straight, a bit loaud because of the rear wheel bearing humming away and the annoying click/tick when turning. its not too loud or feeling dangerous but its just annoying me.anyone knwo what it is. i have a 1996 a4 quattro

Probably the CV joint. Not too tough to change especially if you are doing the control arms. Blauparts should have it for less thatn a hundred bucks. There is a DIY on Audiworld for a newer model but I'm sure it is similar.

dumping grease in a worn cv isn't going to slove anything, grease cannot be used to replace worn parts

If it's clicking, it's shot. You shouldn't have to undo that much to get it taken care of.

once it starts clicking, its over
no fixing a worn ball bearing. its got a flat spot or two, and thats unrepairable.
go get a new joint. it sucks, but check it out, IT could TOTALLY be worse, you could own my audi! lol

ownig your audi even with a bad engine could still be a good thing.just rebuild it up with forged internals and boost it like no other, then take it to town on mustangs.

Or you could do what i did and ignore the problem and then it snaps on the highway at 70mph. Not fun!
