Hi All,
Looks like it is my clutch. I have the 2000 a6 Q. Someone mentioned a ceramic clutch assembly. Can I get aftermarket clutch parts for this vehicle? Or, do I have to go with audi dealership parts? They actually quoted me $1350 to do the job which isn't too bad it seems. I've had good luck with Burdick in syracuse in case anyone cares.

you can always get aftermarket and in most cases the dealer uses the same parts eurocarparts.com

 

Just be careful with clucth selection. Some "perfomance" clutches arent designed for daily use and will result in a short clutch life.
