My car has been starting then shutting immedatley off. So I got it diagnosed and at firtst they thought it was my idle speed motor which is part of the throttle body, but my car dosnt start and stop all the time, sometimes it starts the first time so they said its my ECU. Does this sound right?

 

possibly..what happens?? do you lose spark? do you lose fuel? we need to know what your losing to point in a good direction.. could be your fuel pump intermittenly working.. could be your icm's intermittenly going out.. could be your ecu.. could be a security issue...more info please..
