I have a 2002 Audi A4 I use for business and has 140000 miles. My coolant has a slow leak however I never see any pool of coolant while sitting, overnigt, at work, etc... I do hear dripping while the engine is cooling down and some wet areas. Any suggested problems. Thanks for your help.

 

Some questions that will prolly be asked before anybod offers any relevant suggestions are:
Which motor?
How have you determined that coolant IS leaking? (i.e. resevoir tank slowly subsiding, car running hot, etc.)
Are you noticing any unusual smells, from under the hood, after you shut her down?
Therre may be other questios to ask of you, but Im at work, at the moment, and my minds not entirely on troubleshooting cars, right now...

 

It's a 1.8t Quattro. The resevoir tank is slowly subsiding and I do notice a smell of coolant when I shut her down.
