Hi, all, this may seem like a weird question but here goes:

My center console creaks and squeaks when I lean on it with my elbow. Makes the same sound when I gently twist it and it's annoying and not something I'd expect from the well-considered interior of an Audi. The sounds is hard to describe but it sounds like the natural sound any dense plastic object would make when twisted or having a stress applied to it. I thought perhaps some WD40 in the pivot point of the console might do the trick but it doesn't seem like plastic is rubbing, just seems like it's coming from the plastic itself.

Does this make sense? Am I being OCD? Well, I know the answer to that last question . Any thoughts or insights much appreciated. thanks, Adrian
