Help wanted.

I have a 2000 S4 with 110k I have recently had a problem when accelerating past 4k the car just seems to cut out and bogg down almost like its runing out of gas.

I think it could be mass air flow sensor or a map sensor, I just got a new mafs instaled about three months ago so i dont think its that, so the only other thing i can think of is the map sensor.

Has anyone had this problem before and what was the outcome.

Check your coils. I had a guy with 100k+ mile TT 225hp and it did the same thing. New coil or coils and he was all better. Worth checking. I suppose injectors or a faulty fuel pump could cause similar symptoms.

You have access to a scan tool to check for faults?
