DIY clutch stop???
On my 98 A4, it seems like there is an awful lot of travel on the clutch past the engagement point. I was reading a site and a BMW owner had just purchased a new bolt or something and replaced the existing one and it made his travel a lot more precise to the engagement point.....has anyone done soemthing like this for their audi?

RE: NO!
I'm a long time bimmer guy and know exactly what you are talking about.
The idea is installing a long bump-stop type fixture behind the clutch pedal so that when you stomp it down (shifting quickly etc.) the clutch pedal only goes as far as necessary to engage the clutch. It doesn't adjust the engagement point at all. Just makes shifting a little quicker and more precise. I'm sure it would be easy to fabricate the same type of thing for an audi.

RE: NO!
There is a bolt at the top of your clutch pedal where the pedal meets the assembly. Turning this and adjusting the rod that goes into your master cylinder will adjust where your pedal engages and disengages.
