This is an experience i just had...check it out before buying an audi

On january 15 2003 i aquired a brand new A4 confort version with the multitronic gear box for nearly 40,000 USD (39,700), today after only 15 days and less than 2000 miles the car is in the shop and i am told that a new transmission must be instaled because the one on the car does not work. I find this not only exasperating but completely unacceptable, when i asked the mexican distributor for a car replacement he told me that that simply was not going to happen. I must tell you that this little ordeal has generated over 2000 USD in expenses to me, the car broke down 500 miles away from my hometown and i had to fly back to be at my office early monday morning. I must tell you that AUDI is the biggest piece of metal scrap that i had bought in my life. Where is the so call service, where is all you warranties and lies that you tell people in order to get them to spend 40,000 USD on a complete piece of junk. I have come to realize tha AUDI is just a company that once it has your money you are just an annoince to them, as a costumer you are worth less than a used screw tossed in the garbage. I must say that your company is nothing but a pack o thieving liers and money hungry conmans. I find it terribly dissapointing that after 40,000 USD all i have is a car with a major reparation done to it with no resale value and a car that i cannot trust since it already stranded me on my first jurney. I find it sad that your company takes advantage of the law to sell me a piece of junk and then just say...."will fix it...it is not our obligation to change the whole gearbox but will do it because we are nice"...to this i say.....lies all lies. You can rest assured that i will distribute this inofrmation in whatever internet site i find and that i will tell all who will hear me that buying an UADI is a big mistake, that from personal experience the car breaks down before 2000 miles and that there is no support from the company behind it. I am not asking for something unreasonable, all I want is a 40,000 USD car that actually works. I did not pay such an amount of money for a car with less that 2000 miles and a major report on its log. I payed 40,000 USD for a car that actually works.

You dont know sh*t about cars, congratulations!!

Please cease to exist.

On EVERY single car there is a possibility of breakdown. My dad's intrepid broke down after a month, the transmission was fuxored. The dealership did about $14000 worth of labor and parts for free. It is stupid to ask for a new car if you tranny breaks, they will give u a new tranny for free. If you didn't like the warranty then you shouldn't have signed the paper. Around where I live the customer service at Audi dealerships is very good. I would send a letter to Audi Financial with some proof (plane ticker receit) asking them for a refund because you wouldnt have bought it if your car would not break down. It seems that you are an immature person who is very quick to jump to conclusions without thinking first.

I figure with that much intellect you are going to end up on one of those stories at www.darwinawards.com

how much does audi pay you i wonder????? Is this just a forum where i can only say nice things about audi......hmmmm now I wonder, just so you know i own 3 more audi's an A3 and 2 TT's (yeah 2 so what). I did contact audi financial services and they said.....bad luck...sorry to hear that. What I am complaining about is that the dealership did not check the car before they gave it over to me, and that once the sale was made they have not been as agreeable as they were when thay were selling the car to me, that it is not a minor glitch i am talking about it is a major flaw in the car. I guess life is different when you dont pay for stuff like it sounds you do. Maybe your dad should have asked for what he deserves. Remeber people receive what thay fight for. I also find it ammusing how you are so quick to offend and discredit other people with honest serious complaints, makes you wonder who butters your bread, nice moderator you are when all you can do is discredit and show us your tremendous intelect (i bet your I.Q is about 90) by insulting people who post here. I will not cease to exist.....that may be hard for you to understand since the actual process of existing requieres that you have at least some kind of concioussnes from within or that you are percieved as existing by some thinking procces. Poor sap, how hard it must be to be you with nothing to do on life but show off with how much you claim to know on a subject.

Just because it happened on one car doesnt mean that Audis overall build quality is bad. How do you know that they didnt check the car? I'm 100% sure they did. Like i said before every car has a possibility of breaking down. You got yours fixed and if the Audi Financial said no ask to talk to the manager. You think that Daimler Chrysler wanted to pay for my dads rental while his was getting fixed? He had to spend a total of about 5 hours on the phone to get that.

And it didnt sound that you were just complaining about the dealership.

and btw just so you know I am a member of MENSA (if you know what that is) so STFU please.

sure...i can tell u are in the top 2 % of the population....so much that you have to resort to insults and discredit to get your point accross...how sad that MENSA actually takes poor intelectual saps as you for members now....they must really be in need. Imagine you need to go around announcing that you belong (i wonder) to Mensa. ......how truly sad that it must be to be you.

I didnt say you werent going to get a new car. I said that Audi is not what you were calling it because of this incident. They are very nice cars and that I would be satisfied with just a new transmission and that to get a new car you wouldnt just have to yell at the dealership manager but put more effort towards it.
