Hi -

I own a 2003 Audi A6 2.7, and the driver's door is always ajar. I've seen a few threads on here saying the door latch needs to be replaced, but I don't have $500 for the replacement. I do, however, own a nice pair of wire clippers.

I don't want to fix my door, but I do want to stop the car from beeping at me for the first two minutes of my journey each day.

Does anyone know which wire in the boot between the door and the body is connected to the door switch? If I can clip a wire, or connect two wires, so the car always thinks the door is closed, that's enough for me.

Any thoughts?
