Default ECU advice anyone?

Just chipped my 2004 a6 2.7t s line. I went with a GIAC 93 octane file which supposedly gave me 70 to 80 HP increase. Any thoughts on anything else I should do or know to keep my car running good for a very long time? I have slightly over 45k on it.

Be sure you have good brakes now that your car goes faster!

invest in a good set of rotors. those chain store units just dont hold up to the heat. you'll get a spongy pedal in no time with a little spirited driving

Got you! So since everyone's talking about brakes, I have ATE brakes and rotors on right now-any good/ Oh and I have a small vaccum leak right now- Can I do more damage to my car by driving fast with it leaking?

the car's electronics may read it lean and add more fuel. short term probably not a huge problem, might have a funny idlespeed. but long term you may. is it a hose? just go get some at pepboys. if its a gasket get at it as soon as you can.

not familiar with ate but im new to the audi game so let others reply. i had cross drilled and slotted rotors on my prelude many years ago and she held up to the hottest days with autocross and road warrior days. never a spongy pedal. i put pepboys rotors on my 325i and i hated it right away. one pass down the boulevard and my pedal was down to the floor. quality brakes = better for your life. i used oe pads and didn't have a problem w/ fade or dust. i was happy

Yeah, it's a hose-"spider hose" is what he called it. Thing that sucks is that i've had the leak every since I got chipped so I don't think i'm getting all the power or at least it doesn't feel like 330-340HP. Hoping that's why. Anyway, is that a do it yourself project or should I take it to someone. Most people that looked at my engine at the hose said " what the hell is that?".

Okay so here are the pics. The close up is obviously the part in question and the second pic is just so you can see where it sits in the engine-Cheers!
