I purchased a 2007 A6 last week, it drives beautifully but although i managed to get the mirrors to fold once, i cannot seem to get it to happen again,
I have read my book that shows an additional button below the drivers door left and right adjustments ****, but my car does not have that button fitted, i cannot remember how i did it has anyone any idea's how to close and open the mirrors if the control **** is not fitted below the mirror adjustment ****?

 

not sure how it works on you newfangled A6, but on my "vintage" A6 turning the mirror adjustment **** an additional "click", so that the indicator points toward the rear of the car, folds the side mirrors in.
