Engine Computer?

Does anyone know where the engine computer for a '99 A4 1.8T, I want to see what kind of chip was put into my car before i bought it and i cant find the computer! Lol, thanks!

If you open your hood you'll see a black box under the drivers side window. Open the box and you'll see it.
