Hi guys. Has anyone done a engine flush with a machine? Does it work? Can it damage the engine? I took the car to a service center that works on exotic cars and they recommended me doing a engine flush with a machine that they use. They think that it would help clearing the tapping noise that I get on my 03 A6 4.2. Any suggestions guys?

Nah, just pour in about a half a can of SEAFOAM into the oil and drive it for about 50 miles then drain the oil and change the filter. I tried it out on several of my friends cars and it really seems to work great, i would try that.
