Engine Light

Default Engine Light
I have a 2001 A4 w/ a 2.8 w/ 110,000 miles. Car is flawless and has been well taken care of by Audi of Rochester Hills. Occasionally the engine light comes on but car runs perfect and all gauges read normal. It will be on for a day or so then go off for a few weeks. Very random. Any ideas? Car is also for sale if any interest.
