Engine Wire HArness ?????????????
 

I have 97 A4 2.8 12V FWD 5-speed

I need to replaceentire engine wire harness..............today I got a USED one from a parts car----96 2.8 12v fwd BUT it's from an automatic transmission vehicle. I paid $100.00 for it and took the chance as the price was so good. Everything seemsthe same. I pulled it carefully as it is complete and damage free. My question is, will it work????????I believe the AUTO trannies have their owncomputers. WILL IT RUN?????????

only things I can think of is does it have the wiring to the throttle body which would send signals to the tranny ECU but only way is to fit it and fit new where things are not there ( trial and error ) type job but no big deal
