error code 16804
i was told the o2 sensors needed changing so i did that ,still the check light came back with that pesky code 16804 .need help to solve problem

Without knowing your vehicle and year and engine but the code 16804 is a catalyst below eff. replace the cat

Not all cat efficiency code are corrected by replacing the cats. Audi has software updates that correct the problem on some models.

error 16804
it`s a 2003 audi a4 1.8tq , i just found out today the mechanic tried a second hand post cat sensor from a scrap car to see if the code would come back ,and it did, also a readiness test came up cat & senors pass
