Audi A3 8p intermittent spark
Hi people,
I need assistance with my 2004 Audi A3 8P 2.0FSI (Engine code:BLY) tiptronic.
my spark seems to be intermittent from the spark plugs. If i swing, I can see spark but then it dissapears and i won't have spark for 3-5 swings, after that the spark comes back again but it's short lived.
Currently the only error codes im getting are:
P3034- Intake air temp sensor 2 (signal too large)
P1290- Coolant temp sensor at radiator outlet (signal too small)
P1292- map controlled engine cooling Thermostat (open circuit-MIL on)
P0341- Camshaft position sensor (implausible signal)
I've changed the camshaft sensor but haven't gotten rid of the error code (I'm assuming the vehicle might need to start/drive before the code will dissapear?). I've checked all fuses and relays and replaced whatever was blown but the spark still seems to be intermittent.
Anybody have an idea of where to start looking or what to do?
