Excessive brake pedal travel
Hey all. My brother and I just replaced my front pads and rotors today on my 2007 A4 3.2 quattro convertible. Afterwards, the brake pedal travel is more than it used to be. The car is stopping ok, at least in the time we drove around afterwards. We kind of ran out of time tonight before being able to bleed the brakes. Should I not drive the car in this condition? Will it possibly damage anything? Also, how trustworthy are the brakes if they need to be bled? Can I still drive the car?
At this point, I'm trying to decide if I should just work from home tomorrow. My boss isn't fond of working from home, but I certainly don't want to put myself at risk.

Ok, so I left my car with my brother when I went away for the weekend. He finished replacing the rear pads and rotors as well and then bled the brakes. The brakes feel quite a bit different than the OEM ones that I had previously and I have to push the pedal further to get it to stop the same. He said after bleeding the brakes, he didn't really see any air come out. He said he pressure bled the brakes, but he can try again bleeding from the master cylinder or something like that. I'm the computer guy in the family, not the car guy.
By the by, the pedal isn't going down to the floor or anything like that.
