Hey all. Two things.
One: My LCD screen in pixelating. Would replacing the instrument cluster fix the problem by putting a new one in there? If so where can I get one?

Two: Does anyone have a DIY on how to hook an ipod connector to my cars stock sound system? I have a 2001 A6 2.7T Quattro with the Bose sound system in it....smart box in the trunk apparently.

One: common problem. cheapest, easiest thing to do is send it out for a rebuild. check modulemaster. there is also a soldering DIY somewhere that walks you through fixing it yourself but it requires some mad soldering skills, check the 'zine. or you can buy, and replace just the screen. some have had luck with ebay for this.

Two: the best solutions I have seen involve buying a relatively pricey kit that has a cradle dock and a harness connector. i'm currently using one of the cigarette lighter FM transmitter things for mine. check icelink.
