FLASHER REPLACEMENT, HELP PLEASE

RE: FLASHER REPLACEMENT, HELP PLEASE
this issue is in the turn signal switch - not the flasher/hazard switch!!!
My buddy works at audi service, told me he's seen this problem on many A6s and the way to fix it is to replace the turn signal switch on the steering column.
PS Temporary fix - turn up the music :-)))

RE: FLASHER REPLACEMENT, HELP PLEASE
The flasher for the turn signals is in the hazard switch not the turn signal switch. Its also a very common problem. Not many turn signal switchs go bad. To get the turn signal switch out, you remove the airbag. Theres a couple torxs you acces in holes in the back of the steering wheel. Then remove the steering wheel. Remove the trim panels for the steering column. Unclip the clock spring and remove it. Remove the switch assembly from the column. Both winsheild wiper and turn signal stalks come off at the same time. Then seperate the two stalks.
