Hello,

I recently bought my fiance an Audi A6 1,8T, mfr year 1998.

Now the first issue arise. Bear with me:

Fuse #14 says itīs fusing the interior lights, BUT seems to be connected to the electric window function too. So when it goes out, both interior lights and windows function are lost.
BUT, when I measure the current over the fuse position I get about 3 Amp readings from the interior lighting, but when I engage the windows, current level doesnt change!
Howcome the windows are lost if there is no current drawn anyway.
Is there a ghost in my electricals?

Perhaos the fuse interior cover is from another car or the fuse positon has been tampered with ... well I dont know. What makes me puzzled even more is that the fuse terminal #14 on the fuse block is different from the other ones...

Someone who can make the world easier to understand?

If Im "lucky" the issue could be a short under the seats...
