Default Gauge Cluster Question

If I replace my instrument cluster, will my mileage appear on the new cluster ?

Or where does the S4 store the mileage, in the ecu or in the cluster ?

Some of the pixels (?) are burnt on my display, That is the primary reason I need it. Anyway wouldn't a Carfax type service pick up on the mileage difference.

Neither of those will work David, there was a change in the clusters completely in like 98. You having a 97 should have the analog clock right?
