Hi, I have an Audi A4 1997 Saloon (it's the 1.8 model with no a/c). Ive just bought a new Alpine headunit which works absolutely fine apart from when I turn the engine off all my settings (eg, bass, treble etc) revert back to standard - basically its not holding its memory - Ive been told to connect the red wire from the headunit to the yellow wire in the car, and the yellow to red - has anybody else had a similar problem and tried this method? does it work?
