Default help "heat at bleeding then when i drive go away, don't know what wrong plus it winter in nyc.2005

help i just change my therostat, because the old one was stuck open. so anyway i change the thermostat. everything working fine temp is at 12 o clock like it sould be, then i go driving notice i have no heat unless i give it some gas the get warm like 2k rpm, so i read the thread i bleed the system, open the rev cap, raise it hiper, open the bleeder hose, let the car idle to normal tempurater, i see coolant coming out at idle, i check the heat inside it blowing hot air, so everything is working fine i put the bleeding hose back ing tight it, close the res cap, lower it. heat still working. After putting everything away i leave the car park for like 1 hour go to drive it and notice now the heat is no longer working at idle on while driving the car. so i try bleeding again. still getting same problem.. what am i doing work wrong???? anyone could help i try reading alot of post so i bleed like they said, i don't see any leaking coolant, and i keep topping off the coolant to max... so need help getting cold in nyc nov 26 2005

could be water pump or you still have an air lock, at worst head gasket

try to check your head gasket. there are lots of ways to check it: internal damage to water/oil galleries, damage to oil/water intercoolers if fitted, weakened hoses on the cooling system can cause pulsations in the coolant, leaking valve seals may drop oil into the chamebers, poorly bleed cooling systems or systems where there are high loops in the coolant jacket may have some bubbling. Hope this may help you..
