I just bought 2002 A4 1.8T and all seemed ok but after about an hour of driving the engine light started to flash and it started to sputter , so I took it home and popped the hood the exhaust pipe was glowing bright red , is this normal or do I maybe have blockage or burnt out turbo , I'm not too sure I'm usually a dodge guy. well hopefully someone might have a clue cuz I do not . Thank you.

 

You have a bad ignition coil.
