Help, A4 problems.
Good morning. We have a 2004 A4 1.8T Cabriolet 70k miles. When taking off from stops, or slowing then accelerating around 20-35 mph the transmission studders (hesitates, jerks). This happens about 80% of the time. There are no problems at highway speed. We just had these repairs done locally but the problem persists: replaced timing belt, replace both engine mounts, replaced right side broken c.v. axle, replaced inner and outer axle boots. The shop said the broken right side c.v. axle was causing the problem. However, after repairs the jerking or hesitating still happens. If you accelerate very slowly, it usually will not hesitate as bad. Is this a transmission problem? This is my wife's car. Will appreciate your comments.
Thank you, Bob

When was the last time you had a tuneup?
Could be a simple throttle position issue
