I'm trying to figure out what's going on with my ac. I just got 2008 Audi A4 2.0t with about 160k miles. I've replaced tensioner & thermostat since getting car which fixed issue I was having with heater and warm up time but now with summer here I can't figure this out. 1st when driving with climate control completely off there is still a decent amount of hot air coming into cab, feels stronger from lower(feet) vents & drivers vent closest to window. I attempted to test blend doors an I think I could hear them so idt it's that, any ideas? 2nd looking at compressor both pulley & inside rubber piece r spinning, but when feeling rubber piece it almost feels as tho there's a puncture in it cuz there's like an indent not so much a hole, is this normal or a sign of something? 3rd- I haven't tried while driving yet but while in driveway idling if I turn on ac the idle definitely changes a lil and cars seems to run rougher than normal, maybe it's normal & I'm jus not used to it but as soon as I click econ button idle stops being rough and goes back to normal regardless of fan speed, can anyone help with at least some diagnostic steps please??
