First of all im new to this site, just bought an Audi last week. I come in search of help. Today i was wiring my CD player in to replace the standard cassette player. I had to faf with the wiring for the rear speakers. Anyway, I finished and it worked fine, come to start the car the set off somewhere and the Blower wont work atall. No air comes out. It cannot be coinidence for the blower motor to go after ive been messing behind the dash, what else could I have disturbed? Ive checked all fuses and they look fine.
Any ideas? help appreciated.

 

sounds like you need to open teh patient back up and do the installer equivalent of checking to see if you left any tools inside. Or, more realistically, make sure you didn't pull any *other* wires loose during your ministrations. I don't envy you. tracing wires is sh***y work, but, less so if it your own work you're tracing.

 

Hi there, How would I go about this, you can see/feel very little through the headunit hole. Can the climate control unit be removed to check the back of it? if so how? Cheers.
