HELP?!?! Clunking Noise in the center of my S4

Hello guys,

I just bought my 2001 S4 about 3 months and I have a clunking noise in the middle of my car every time i quickly release the clutch at a stand still or shifting gears. I was really bad at first but I changed my Tranny mount to 034 street density and my rear diff to 034 street density as well. The clunking got a lot better but it is still there and really starting to annoy me! I put the car up on a rack and looked at all my mounts and all the mounts seems to be ok but the tranny moves just a little more then i expect it to move. Snub, motor, control and sub mounts look ok. (meaning not worth changing) if any one has some suggestions or comments please help me fix this problem!! PLEASE!!!!

Thanks in Advance

Michael

Take a look and see if the driveshaft center joint/bearing is worn out - that's how my 300ZX behaved when the center bearing failed and i've seen it on these cars too.

checked the center driveshaft bushing it will still good. tried to move it with a pry bar and it is stiff. just changed my snub mount now and still the same problem.
