Hey Guys,

I am pretty new to this forum, I purchased my 2004 A4 3.0 6SPD Quattro a few months ago.

I just came back from a round trip from florida (I live in NY) and the day I got back my radio has stopped working. I specifically remember arriving home and shutting off my car, but as i turned the key off I heard a small static but thought nothing of it. The next time I turned on the car, I wasn't getting any sound for any stations. The CD player has a cd jammed in it (bought it this way) and the tape deck won't load a tape so I cannot tell if it just stations or if its the entire system. I did have a chance to swap in a working interior amp (located in the passenger side liner in the trunk), this did not fix the issue so its not the amplifier.

I am getting a some slight feedback from the speakers (humming, whining noises) and it is a Symphony radio i believe, not a bose.

Any ideas? Suggestions?

bump + update: the booster module in the headlight above the rear windshield if functioning just fine, i removed it and the radio would not lock on any stations, once put back in place the radio found all stations + name of song and station, but still no sound.

anybody have any ideas?
