Homelink Garage Door Opener Light Not Turning On
Good Afternoon Everyone:
I just purchased an 03' A4 and am having trouble programming the Homelink garage door opener. My problem is that when I attempt to program or unprogram anything using the three Homelink buttons, I'm under the impression that the indicator light is supposed to blink in some way. This light has no activity no matter what I do. I do have the ignition turned to the on position, but the car is not started. Is there something simple I'm missing?
Thank you,

My actual buttons (buttons I, II and III) illuminate when the car's lights are turned on, but the indicator light is where I have the problem. Is it the same for you?

I have the same problem with my '08 A6 4.2 Quattro. Sure would be nice if someone who knows what the problem is would respond to this thread. No matter what I do or how I do it the little LED indicator light stays dark. Therefore I am unable to program my HomeLink to operate my garage door. I've posed my problem to HomeLink since I was unable to find any solution on any threads going back to 2007 in these forums. I'll post HomeLink's response, if they respond and if they can solve the problem.
