I just bought a 2000 audi S4. my cruise control does not work and my dealer thinks it is because it has a chip. The told me it was not an apr chip? I followed the apr instructions to activate and nothing happened. i there an unlock for apr? how can i find out what chip i have? are there any ships besides apr that effect cruise control? please help me ASAP. thanks!

 

Nope, just APR. You might just have a bad stalk & need it replaced, it's kind of common, & codes will be stored, if it's on the way out.
