Im thinking of buying a salvage titled vehicle and was wondering if it was more expensive to insure a salvaged title and if anyone knows how much more.

Probably depends on the insurer . Better call your company to verify.

 

I had one and there was no change in cost for insurence in CT.
just make sure it has went through inspection after it was fixed and emissions.
befor you buy it.
Just one thing you should check is that fender to center cap of wheel lenght is the same to see if strut tower damage was fixed correct if there was eney.

 

I'm an insurance claims guy. It should be insurable. But if you have a loss on it, you obviously won't get full value if it's totalled. DO NOT BUY IT unless you have documentation on what kind of loss 'totalled' it, and what they had to do to rebuild it. If it was a flood loss, STAY AWAY! If possible, check into the shop that rebuilt it. What's their reputation?. Get me some more info on it - photos of the damage, etc., and I'll give you my opinion.
