hello, just got a 2006 a3 and some of the black is bubbling and flaking off a few of the controls. this wasn't a show-stopper for me, but would like to know if there is any general solution to making the controls look a bit nicer.

the controls that exhibit this: door un/lock, window up/dn, radio, heat/a/c, etc.

 

One or two of the buttons in our A4 has that going on too. Disappointing but considering the amount of use they get I guess I'm not heartbroken or anything.

 

I Know it's relatively inexpensive to replace the door un/lock button and window buttons but I'm not sure about the rest. I only had the door un/lock one pealing off when I got my A3, so I just bought a new button.
