I have a 2006 3.2 A6 Avant with Nav. etc. I recently upgraded my iphone to 3.0; before the upgrade I was able to connect my iphone to the car and use the phone feature via bluetooth. Since the upgrade I cannot. When searching for devices, the iphone shows an Auid device, when I hit connect it waits a few seconds and then says unable to connect. I have to think that this problem is due to the new iphone version. Any suggestions for a fix would be greatly appreciated.

 

I am having the same problem. i found that if I unhook my bluetooth from the RNS-E I can reconnect it and get my phone to sync but it only lasts as long as I dont lose the connection. I'm going to swap out the cable for a new Kufatec cable and see if that fixes my problem. Keep us posted on what happens with yours.
