Jump Start or Bump Start?

I have a 2001 Audi A4 Quattro 1.8t
The battery is dead, i must have left my XM radio on for a few weeks. Im not getting any lights and the engine wont turn over i.e. no clicking

My concern is, i read in another post that you shouldn't jump start an audi because it can fry the computers... Any truth to this?

I can bump (roll) start it if necessary, but i was wondering if any harm can be done by jumping it.

Thanks for any info.
