Anybody have any ideas? Sometimes when I put my key in the ignition it can turn over very easily, however sometimes it feels like it is LOCKED and I cannot turn it at all. A little bit later, although i feel this is super unhealthly, i slightly over muscle it and turn the ignition and then it feels as if it "breaks through" the barrier that was holding it back.

does this make sense, sound familiar to anyone?

it is your steering wheel, this happens in all european cars. if you turn the wheel until it locks while the car is off, when you try to start it again you'll have to slightly turn the wheel in order for the key to turn.

so if it happens again, just try turning the wheel a bit, then try turning the key again...then it should work.

if this isn't the problem, you may have a bad ignition lock...and that'll cost somewhere around $400 maybe for labor and parts???

Yea sounds like the ignition lock,I work at a honda dealership(please forgive me)and we have that problem alot.......Also how does the key feel in the doors?Is this a new key?,And how long has this been happening?
