Newbie with a 2002 TT Quattro 180hp. Purchased the car last week and there is only one key. Checked out ebay for blanks. Now, where the heck do I find the key numbers ... FCC, etc. We've looked everywhere we can think of.

Please don't flame the newbie...I did do a search but nothing make sense to this blonde!

You have to open up the key (use a screwdriver on the ridge at the back... but be gentle! Should be in your manual how to do this) and inside there you will find a number and frequency e.g 4DO.......... or 8LO................. etc etc and a frequency. You need to buy a key with the same number and frequency.
