Keyless entry receiver - where is it ?
Can anyone tell me where to look for the keyless entry receiver on my 1996 A6 Avant 2.8 ?
There is a alarm unit below the rear seat but this is not the receiver because the remote still operates the doors with it disconnected. the reason I want to find the reciever is to locate the wiring so I can fit an aftermarket alarm. Though my existing remote works I don't like it because it doesn't give a visual or audible indication and the locks take 6 seconds to work.
