lifter noise

RE: lifter noise
It may not need an entire head. You may just have a lifter that has bleed down and wont pump back up. If thats the case you would only need a new lifter. Pinpointing the exact lifter can be difficult. Youll need an automotive stethoscope to listen for exactgly where the noise is coming from. Then pull the vavlecover and inspect the lifters and head for damage. If the head isnt damaged, replace the lifter.
