New here and to Audi, so bare with me...

98 A6 2.8 Quattro(5 spd Auto W/Tip)

Purchasedthe car, one month later flywheel popped off and did some damage to95k mile tranny. Replaced withused 75k miletranny, one week later Tipronic stops working (worked fine for that week) and also can't manually pull down into 2nd. It will go down to 3rd, but it's like it has locked me out of 2nd. Small problem I had at the same time but has gone away, shifter wasn't going all the way into park. Sounds like it's not lined up properly, but mechanic said that's not the problem but doesn't know what is.

Car drives fine otherwise, light oil leak (which I hear is common?) and no warning lights or random fluids or smells. Really don't want to pay Audi to look at this seeing as I'm broke after just buying car and getting a tranny.

Get Vag-Com end check the transmission.
If there are sticky solenoids you could be able to unfreeze them.
Replace the filter and the fluid after.
