MIL Code P2187, help!
 

Hey Guys and Gals, I am new to the site so if this is in the wrong thread I apologize. I was driving yesterday and noticed my MIL light was on (steady). I took it to autozone and they gave me the code P2187. I looked into it and it seems as if it can be a few things that can cause that code to come up. Has anyone hear had this same issue. If so, what did you do to fix it? I called my dealer and my warranty ended in December....figures! I have a 2010 Audi A4 2.0 Quattro.

I have noticed that I have to add oil every once in awhile, and sometimes idling does seems like the car is sputtering. But that is something that has been happening for awhile and not just since this light came on.

Any words of advice would be appreciated. I already ordered a scanner in hopes that I can just clear the code and see if it comes back. If it doesn't than maybe it was just some hiccup.
