Hi guys, picked up a 2009 TT around 6 weeks ago. The car passed smog and registered the title and the last 6 weeks have been awesome with the car with not a single hint of a fault. The car is driven daily around 40 miles to work and back. Been brilliant driving it.

It does have an APR stage 1 tune, but the tuning is very nice, with a little lag, before it takes off.

Monday going to work, the car was sitting idle at the weekend as I have a family car for the weekend, started up ok and drove around 3 miles at no more than 35MPH to get to the highway on ramp. Upon getting the onramp I did floor the accelerator, and rather than the car taking off like it normally does the revs just died and the car started to misfire. No sign at all anything was going to go wrong, until I floored the accelerator.

Now it misfires and shakes at idle. Small smell of fuel, perhaps not being burned off... No leaks from the engine and apart from the misfire.

The EPC and engine management lights are both on.

1. Changed the sparkplugs
2. I also changed the ignition coils
3. I disconnected the MAF and made no difference, the car is misfiring with the MAF connected or not
4. I also did a reboot

I called the previous owner and he said he replaced the fuel injectors at 30,000miles, so the new injectors have less than 10,000 miles on them.

Running the Vag-Com or Ross-Tech. Then showing bunch of error codes, hence I tried the spark plugs and ignition coils. But I am getting the same error codes everytime.... Any ideas what could be wrong ?
