MMI Software Update

I recently bought a Viseeo Bluetooth adapter for my A6. In the fitting instructions it says to make sure the software is above a certain level of which its currently not. So i went down to my Audi dealer and got a hold of the set of 3 MMI update cds. They came with no instructions so i did a bit of research online but i havent found any specific instructions. All i have found is:

- enter the 'engineering' menu by holding setup and return
- select the SW Update option
- Enter the first cd into the first slot of the CD changer

But then it says there no data on the disc!

Does anybody have any insight as to what im doing wrong?

It a 2006 A6 with MMI Basic Plus. The part number of the cd set i have is: 4F0 998 961 A

Many thanks,

Jamie

this most useful software MMI consists of a single interface, which controls a variety of devices and functions of the car, thus minimizing the vast array of buttons and dials normally found on a dashboard. The system consists of the MMI terminal and the MMI display screen.

Jamie insert the first CD in your computer and tell me do you see METAINFO.TXT file?

If you do open the file and paste the contents here plz. Then go to the hidden menu and tell me the SW REL version of the Interfacebox.
