muffler question
 

I have the 08 2.0T TT and the muffler is huge. There is only one company out there that has an aftermarket exhaust but its really expensive. Till others come out with one I was wondering if replacing the stock HUGE muffler with a performance one will make any difference in sound and/or performance? If so, what muffler would be best? Thanks.

any hp muffler will be better than stock. You will gain 3 things, sound, hp, and weight. Dont know what one is best but im sure somene can help u./

i thnk hell loose weight. for the time why not just dump the muffler and run straight pipes from either the resonator back or the cat back.

I am afraid without some type of muffler it would be to loud and sound like the Hondas out there. I want a deper growl but I dont want the exhaust note to be too loud. Would dropping the muffler all together do that?
