99 A4 B5 Quattro 1.8t wagon.
Here's the deal, I replaced my timing belt 6 months ago following the instructions posted in the forums (awesome). I ended up forgetting to put a plastic piece against the block. I did not realize it untill I was done. My questions is, what part is this for? What does it do? Is it important enough to go through the pain of tearing everything apart to replace it. This was the only part left out--go figure. The picture and arrow shows the part I have left. Please help.
