Default NEED HELP - OIL OVERHEATING (A4 2.6)

On hot days stuck in traffic our oil temp exceeds 100 which makes the water temp rise to 110. We took the car to the Audi dealer who ran the diagnostics on it and came back with replacing the oil sensor which we did but the problem remains!!!! Any suggestions about where to look, as the car does not use any coolant and on long runs and highway is fine????.

100 degrees C or 212 F is OK for the oil.

Until recently the max oil temp was 60-70 and it has only recently started getting up to 100 or so. When the tech replaced the oil sensor we were advised that the oil temp should not exceed 65. Also, when the temp does rise, the engine starts to lose power so something is not right here. Any other suggestions?
